Concrete Refinishing
Garage Floors, Patios, and Walkways
We offer a product line that can change the look of your garage
floor, patio or walkway to give the appearance of a granite finish,
our multistone color selection has 84 flex colors to choose from.
As a chemical company we have seen (first hand) the problems many
homeowners have after painting their cement floors with standard
epoxies only to have them peel within a few months. The reason most
epoxies fail is due to lack of chemical resistance that epoxies carry
that causes the chemical to break down and fail.
Our process uses a clear finishing coat of industrial Aliphatic
Acrylic Polyurethane that is actually considered a Anti-Graffiti coating.
When using this finishing coat no chemicals such as oil, salt or chemicals
that might come in contact with our finishing coat can penetrate through it thus
protecting the multistone and primer used for our cement refinishing.
Lack of consumer knowledge of chemicals and proper procedures
has lead to a high failure rate in this industry. We hope we can
instruct you and make you aware of the proper way to refinish
cement so you can enjoy years of beauty that our coatings will
give you.
We will first explain the procedures then you can see
step by step how cement should be refinished. First you may want

There are four major steps of the process.
PROCESS FOR MULTISTONE REFINISHING
- Power wash the cement that is going to be refinished. We suggest a
power washer that has at least 2600 PSI of power, if your floor
was painted and is peeling you MUST get the old finish COMPLETELY
off, this might be achieved easier with a power washer with
at least 4000 PSI. Preparation is the key for longevity, the
cement must be Spotless to achieve this.
- Primer the cement with our XL aerospace primer. This primer will
be made to match the color of the multistone you have picked
out. The primer is a two part industrial epoxy loaded with Silane
which is an adhesion promoter. This primer can be sprayed on,
but for ease of application it can be rolled on with a fine
matt-roller. Two coats should be applied for better adhesion.
- Apply your mulistone over the primer. Multistone MUST be sprayed on
with a HVLP system or airless system. You can rent these at
local paint stores. We will give you the specifications of the
equipment later in our step by step picture lay out.
- Apply the clear coat on 24 hours after you have sprayed on the multistone.
You can also can roll or spray it on. Apply two coats waiting
6 hours between coats. Cement can be used lightly after 24 hours
and driven on after 48 hours. The procedures might seem involved,
but this is the only way to achieve longevity.
PROCESS FOR SOLID COLOR REFINISHING

Power wash the cement that is going to be refinished. We suggest a power

easier with a power washer with at least 4000 PSI. Preperation is the key to
longevity, the cement must be spotless to achieve this.

Primer the cement floor with our XL aerospace primer. This primer can be made
to match any color you desire. We carry all of Sherwin Williams, Behr and
Benjemin Moore paints, just call us with the color number and name. Apply
primer on with a solvent resistant rollor. Two coats are reccomended for
better adhesion. You can apply second coat over first in two hours.

You can apply your clear coat sealer three hours after applying primer.
Apply one thick coat with a solvent resistant rollor. You can apply a second
coat after 5 hours if you want more durability. You will be able to walk on
surface after 24 hrs and drivable on after 72 hrs.
